Laboratory Services
Laboratory services are offered at PrairieStar for identification and treatment of certain medical conditions. Discounted fees for laboratory services are available, based on household income and family size.
PrairieStar provides the following laboratory services:
- Strep Screen
- Blood Glucose
- Mononucleosis (Mono)
- Pregnancy
- Urinalysis (UA)
- Hemacult
- Tuberculosis (TB)
- Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD)
- Pulmonary Function
- EKG
- Hearing Screening and Testing
- Vision Screening and Testing
- Nebulizer Treatments
In addition to the laboratory tests performed at PrairieStar, more comprehensive lab & x-ray tests may be ordered by PrairieStar providers to be performed at Promise Regional Medical Center. Promise Regional agrees to accept PrairieStar’s sliding fee scale for lab and x-ray services that PrairieStar orders. If you are referred to Promise Regional for lab or x-ray services, you will receive a bill from them directly. You will need to make arrangements with their patient accounts department to pay any bills you receive from them.
